Business Tabloid is a global media publication, which focuses on the current happenings in the business world, bringing our readers the latest trends and news, as they happen. Each section of our Bi-Annual Magazine brings deep insights through interviews with the most sought-after global industry leaders. The Annual Business Tabloid Awards is a celebration where we recognize companies and individuals for their excellent contributions to their respective sectors.

**Responsibilities**

**Write and publish multiple articles on a daily basis, ranging from quick to covering the latest on a breaking news event with photos

**Write daily and long-term stories, including reported pieces and detailed analysis for the news website and our weekly newsletter/reports

**Develop fresh angles and offer new insights for readers. Report news on tight deadlines, which includes making calls, asking tough questions, and aggressively pursuing a story when needed

**Call on various government agencies to get the appropriate information and news

Stay on top of and follow up on current events coming out of business sectors

**Must be able to develop sources/relationships to call on for quotes and information

**Must be familiar with creating social media posts and ideas to boost engagement

**Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver fast, authoritative, and impactful coverage

**This position is based in Bangalore

**Qualifications**

**Must have completed a UG/PG degree in Journalism and Mass Communication

**Must have superior writing and editing skills coupled with the demonstrated ability to present information concisely and clearly at an appropriate level of sophistication

**Must have strong interview skills, with an ability to extract relevant information about technical and complex topics and turn it into easy-to-understand written content

**Must be able to analyse data, news and trends, and write concise articles that are compelling and easy to understand

**Must be able to monitor and identify news on a daily basis

**Must be internet savvy and have the ability to carry out qualitative online research

**Knowledge and familiarity with online publishing tools, WordPress, and HTML a plus

**Should be a voracious reader of business news and current events

**Must be an excellent fact checker and should have the ability to verify all the news items from various sources

**Must be proactive and able to work independently

**Must be organized, able to meet deadlines and multi-task while at the same time maintaining a high level of attention to detail and sustaining overall quality

**Must be creative, flexible and willing to do what it takes to deliver a finished product

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 per month
