**Roles and Responsibilities**:
1. Researching fashion trends, historical styles, and consumer preferences.

2. Creating sketches and conceptual designs for clothing, accessories, or footwear.

3. Developing patterns and prototypes of designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software or traditional methods.

4. Selecting appropriate fabrics, colors, and materials for each design.

5. Collaborating with patternmakers, seamstresses, and other artisans to bring designs to life.

6. Overseeing the production process to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards.

7. Making adjustments to designs based on feedback from clients, buyers, or market trends.1

10. Managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project deadlines and financial goals.

11. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other industry professionals.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in fashion design.

2. Creativity: Strong artistic and creative skills are essential for generating innovative and visually appealing designs.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, patternmaking, sewing, and garment construction techniques is necessary.

4. Knowledge of Fashion: A deep understanding of fashion history, trends, têxtiles, and garment construction methods is crucial for creating successful designs.

5. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are needed to collaborate with team members, present designs to clients, and convey ideas clearly.

6. Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail are vital for creating high-quality designs and ensuring accurate patternmaking and garment construction.

7. Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing trends, client preferences, and production challenges is essential in the fast-paced fashion industry.

8. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing original designs, sketches, and completed projects is typically required to demonstrate skills and creativity to potential employers or clients

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
