KOKO Labs is the research and development arm of KOKO. From ideas to reality, through user research, iterative design, and commercial development, KOKO Labs helps us imagine and deliver transformative technology-based solutions.

KOKO Labs’ dedicated team of entrepreneurs, researchers, designers and engineers work out of purpose-built facilities in Nairobi, Kenya and Gandhinagar, India partnering closely with technical, commercial, academic and regulatory experts from around the world.

We build and test out projects quickly and they vary in type and reach. This means the visual designer is never bored - you’ll be working on a range of projects - from branding to customer facing marketing material and even low fidelity prototypes. All you need is a good sense of visual design and a willingness to learn the business.

The designer is expected to work based out of our Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar offices.

**What you will do**:

- Work closely with the different Labs teams to create visual designs that align with our brand guidelines and business objectives
- Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and physical products
- Create engaging social media graphics and other marketing materials that resonate with our target audience
- Collaborate with the product team to create user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporate them into your work
- Participate in design critiques, provide and receive feedback, and iterate on designs based on feedback
- Ensure all design work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

**What you will bring to KOKO**:

- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in graphic design or visual communication, preferably in a tech or startup environment
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of visual design skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
- Working knowledge of Figma will be a big plus
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
