GS Medical College & Hospital is wishes to hire **Experienced Medical Record Officer**.

**Experience: 12 to 15 yrs (3 Yrs exp as a MRO Post)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Record Management**:

- Collect, organize, and maintain patient medical records and files in both physical and electronic formats.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of records by verifying documentation and following up with healthcare providers when needed.
- **Compliance and Confidentiality**:

- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements such as HIPAA or other relevant regulations.
- Ensure records are stored securely and access is limited to authorized personnel.
- **Reporting**:.
- Assist in audits and provide documentation to support regulatory compliance.
- **Liaison**:

- Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and administrative staff regarding record requests, discrepancies, or updates.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or related field.
- Certification in Health Information or Medical Records is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a Medical College is desirable.
- Proficient in medical terminology and health information systems

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and healthcare regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and health IT systems.
