**Role Synopsis**
Quality Inspectors are responsible for ensuring that all products and procedures meet established quality standards through rigorous inspection, documentation, and compliance activities. This role involves hands-on quality control tasks, coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders; it assumes the holder has strong knowledge of products/services supplied by Proserv and can work without direct supervision.
**Key**Responsibilities** (processes performed by this position)
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections from goods receiving and throughout the production process using a combination of specialist inspection skills (dimensional, paint, welding, surface finish, PMI, visual).
- Conduct final inspections to ensure products meet all specifications and standards.
- Support design reviews to advise inspection lessons learned
- Attend handover meetings (as required)
- Record internal and supplier non-conformances
- Review ITP and manage documentation.
- Generate and maintain quality documentation such as Notifications of Inspection (NOIs), PMI Packs, and Welding Packs.
- Review and verify material certification and test documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate daily with Third Party Inspection Agencies and Client Inspectors to align inspection activities and resolve issues.
- Attend internal and external training activities to maintain and enhance competency.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of key product elements, specifications, and standards.
- Work in accordance with the organisation's quality strategy and procedures.
- Supporting Quality team with both project tasks and documentation requirements.
**Key Accountabilities** (processes owned by this position)
- Ensure inspection and quality activities are aligned with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Maintain adherence to the Global Business Management System (GBMS), ensuring it remains robust and effective.
- Support and contribute to local improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate accountability for product quality outcomes and ensure continuous improvement in inspection processes.
- Uphold quality performance and compliance through ongoing evaluation and reporting.

**Qualifications**
**Education**
Essential
- Formal training for the relevant measurement tools/techniques or evidenced experience in using the tools and techniques.
Preferred
- Formal training in inspection specialism(s)
- Formal qualification in a technical discipline
- Internal auditor qualification
- NDE operator qualification as per ASNT TC 1A or equivalent
**Experience**
Essential
- Ability to read drawings, interpret dimensional reports
- Demonstratable experience in a Quality Inspection or similar role
- High level of IT skills
Preferred
Experience of D365 Quality module.
