**Group / Department: Product Support Job Title: AGM/DGM/GM Direct Manager: HOD Product Support**

Service department head leading a team of Sr. mangers / Assistant Mgrs. and Engineers. Accountable for technical Support & service sales functionality in distributor territory, Field & Workshop handling / repairs, SPOC for Perkins to ensure business compliance, Handling of all queries & issues escalations & jobs closure UW / OOW.

Will represent Service pillar functionality in organization, Technical conference, OEMD’s governance, Capacity & Capabilities review of product support network, emphasis on Inhouse & OEM team’s skill upgrade by regular trainings & factory audits for quality product adherence.

**Accountabilities Job Dimensions Education / Knowledge / Experience / Skills**

Thorough knowledge of genset field & Controls, diesel Job dimensions requires an individual in lead role: engine’s components terminology along with know-how on o Start to Finish on any job shall be mode of **18-20 years and above with independent usage of the tools & instruments. working. proven track of handling Gensets and**

- Failure investigation / breakdown reports / Health o Well versed with Diesel engine’s technology / manufacturers shall be preferred. checks / AMC visit data & reports working sub-assemblies’ repairs. Able to handle parts Experience on Perkins brand will be an
- Suggest new methods/ documents for job to be list through software-based parts system advantage. efficient, improvements for preventive & remedial o Record & Maintain work quality standards. **Working exposure on software-controlled solutions. o Read & understand Bulletins, Manuals to guide engines.**:

- Guide juniors, create & establish new processes, juniors.
- Inclined towards self-learning & able to meet checklists on repair jobs, Investigation report o Computer knowledge is must. documentation requirements related to job writing. o Excellent writing / PPT making & English profile. communication skills.
- Follow Perkins recommendation for repair jobs, troubleshooting & repair activities. Communication & Working Relationships Attributes / Personal Characteristics
