**Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line)**: 0
**Number of Outsourced Reports**: 0
**Purpose of the Job**: To achieve the key Production objectives through innovative manufacturing practices and process.
**Major Responsibilities**:

- To lead shift operation of production process
- To coordinate the materials and manpower in the shift operations and to achieve the targets
- To achieve the objectives of Business Unit through innovative production methods
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements.
- Deploy modern manufacturing practices/ tools to achieve throughput efficiency and optimum productivity
- Maintain Machine health in show room condition by deploying high standards of Plant maintenance
- Deploy Quality management tools for problem solving and ensure high process capability
- Show strong team leadership and ensure professional transaction with peers and Neem Trainee members
- To train new Neem Trainees in respective BU
- Ensure all relevant documents are complete as per the procedure.
- Ensure discipline in the shop floor & plant.
- Promote people participation in improvement activities like Kaizen, QCC and innovation programs

**Skills**:

- Lean manufacturing methods
- 5S systems
- Knowledge in Tyre Manufacturing
- Technical knowledge of operation of machine in the BU
- Knowledge in Production Planning
- Knowledge in SAP
- Knowledge in safety requirements across processes
- Knowledge on customer requirements (internal)

**Relevant Experience**: 5- 10 years

**Education Qualification(s)**: B.E/B.Tech
