Sustainability and Business Advisory (SBA) supports investors and organizations to achieve their sustainability, inclusion, social impact goals and other business imperatives. We engage with investors like impact funds, Development Finance Institutions (DFls), PE & VC firms and portfolio companies and help them achieve their business imperatives.

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly motivated Intern) to join our team. The intern will support our team in analyzing and advising for sustainable business practices, focusing on agriculture and environmental impact. The intern will work on projects related to environmental assessments, agro-economic evaluation, and provide data-driven insights to enhance sustainable development strategies.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

You will be working closely with the Sustainability & Business Advisory Unit at Sattva to deliver high quality reports, and materials. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Conduct environmental footprint assessments, focusing on carbon footprinting for sustainable business practices.
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data related to sustainable agriculture and farmer income levels.
- Perform secondary research to support the development of sustainability strategies.
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of raw data, generating actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Support the design of market research initiatives to identify opportunities in sustainability and agriculture.
- Document and prepare key project artefacts such as project plan, project governance decks, regular communication documents with clients
- Support the team in brainstorming for engagement strategies for client products
- Engage in discussions with internal team members, community on ground, and other stakeholders.
- Support team in conducting primary research through key informant interviews and focus group discussions
- Travel to Karnataka and Kerala for 10 days for data collection.*

- Completed / Currently Enrolled in a Postgraduate Degree ( Preferably in a field of studies related to Decision Making, Research & Experimental Design, Data Visualisation & Analysis)
- Proficiency in data collection (qualitative and quantitative) and analysis, with a strong ability to crunch data and derive insights.
- Exceptional proficiency in English, Malayalam, and Hindi both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with carbon Environmental Impact assessments and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in conducting in-depth secondary research to support business strategy.
- Familiarity with project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools to to manage, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.**Why Sattva?**
