(3+ years) IBM Cloud (1+ years) AWS (1+ years) Azure (1+ yeas) GCP (1+ years)" Detailed Job Description "z/OS and z Series Mainframe Middleware Engineer responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Middleware sub-regions scheduling and configuration. Will support both virtualized z/OS servers and on-premises mainframes. Engineer must have experience with working with Batch jobs, DB2, CICs, MQ, IMS mainframe security controls, and network connectivity. The z/OS Mainframe Middleware Engineer works with the platform architecture team to define the Middleware configuration & architecture supporting the IBM Z offering in support of Mainframe (z/OS) zCloud clients. The Middleware Engineer develops use cases, identifies/researches, and recommends technologies to deliver on those use cases, and implements the configuration and implementation of those technologies in support of business objectives on the mainframe systems. The engineer will also be managing theMQ queues, configuration between the sub-region including mainframe LPAR support & the Scheduling of any Batch jobs.
