About the Role

The SME will be part of the CIS organization that provides managed services & system integration projects to its customers. This role will include understanding customer requirements, proactively work with sales team, manage large RFP and create solutions for its customers. This role will require to provide leadership and technical oversight for the design, implementation and management of all solutions in the area of Datacenter technologies that will include Compute, Storage, Databases in public and private clouds.
- Define a solution using architectural design principles based on requirements.
- Implement and provide implementation guidance based on best practices to the team throughout the life cycle of the project.
- A motivated, self-driven individual, focused on business development, consulting architect around cloud-based solutions and services
- Should be an experienced “solution-oriented” consultant with good sales acumen with IT solutions design/development background.
- Prior presales and implementation experience in AWS or Microsoft Azure.

What You Will Do
- Understand customer requirements and provide technical solution which would be in the form of presentation or a word document
- To engage in customer discussions along with sales, convince about our CIS capabilities, give roadmap and address their pain points.
- Need good understanding of AWS, Azure and private clouds, storage subsystem, Databases etc. Should have a mind to sell, generate new business, write technical proposals, presentation skills, willing to travel and meet new customers, work with partners to enable solutions that we lack.
- CIS delivery experience, broad knowledge of Infrastructure services, ability to understand Harman capability and align with customer requirements

What You Need
- 12 to 15 plus years’ experience in Cloud & Infrastructure Services - Compute, Database, Storage, Monitoring, Cloud - Public clouds like AWS, Azure, Private clouds - VMware, Datacenter setup
- Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Ability to do assessments, consulting work, provide reports and convert it into long term deal
- Should have handled large bids, finance knowledge - rate cards, costing and proposals. Effort calculation for different support activities should be known
- The person requires in depth knowledge CIS offerings, should have done delivery, transition and transformation projects
- Ability to create presentation and write technical documents - Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to network with OEM’s and resellers, understand the solutions being offered, price negotiation
- Should have worked with analysts, should be a self starter, work with minimum guidance, met business targets
- Technical hands on knowledge on most of the Operating systems and tools that will be used in solution
- Ability to create a POC environment and do demo to customer
- Ability to identify which AWS / Azure services meet a given technical requirement.
