**Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor**

**Location**: Bengaluru, India
**Salary Range**: ₹3,60,000 - ₹4,80,000 per annum (based on experience and fit)
**Department**: Quality Control / Production
**Reports To**: Sr. Production Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems (QMS), policies, and procedures in alignment with manufacturing and ISO 9001 requirements. Establish quality inspection standards and testing protocols for incoming materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Analyze defect data to identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of quality reports, inspection records, and corrective action logs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 3S & 5S, PFMEA, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc) aimed at optimizing processes, reducing defects and improving process yield.
- Train line operators and supervisors on quality best practices and defect identification techniques.
- Track key performance metrics such as defect rate, yield improvement, turnaround time (TAT), and rework percentage.
- Coordinate with the procurement and stores teams to inspect and address material quality issues arising from supplier shipments.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing QC systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 7 QC tools, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, and 5 Whys.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
