**Job Title: Commis II - Indian and Tandoor Cuisine**

**Location**: Colva Alagoa resorts

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes, including marinating meats, preparing dough, and blending spices for authentic Indian recipes.
- **Cooking Techniques**: Utilize tandoor ovens and other traditional cooking methods to prepare a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- **Menu Support**: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and refine menu items, contributing ideas for specials and seasonal dishes.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the restaurant’s standards and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, and help with ordering as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff, supporting a positive and efficient work environment.
- **Health and Safety**: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

**Qualifications**:

- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
- Previous experience in Indian cuisine or tandoor cooking preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spices and Indian cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
