The Control Testing and Assurance (CT&A) team is responsible for providing assurance testing on the design and operating effectiveness of the businesses’ control environment and adherence to applicable regulations and the Bank’s policies. CT&A develops and executes an annual, risk based testing plan that covers the risk categories owned by Compliance & AFC, across all businesses in the region. The role is for an AVP in CT&A Data Analytics team based out of Bangalore to support the testers globally in planning, delivery and execution with data analysis across Compliance/Financial crime testing reviews.

Bachelors or master’s degree in computers/Mathematics/statistics 8-11 years’ experience with data analysis and/or data mining. Experience and knowledge in banking and finance will be desirableUnderstanding of structured and unstructured data, data analytics (including advanced analytics), Data Visualization, Data Management, Data Quality Assurance. Understanding of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies, and measurement / analytics of suchAdvance knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Access, power point etc.) Experience in Big Data Technologies, Hive, Python, SQL, Power BI and Tableau is required. Exposure in R, Google Cloud Platform data analytics is plus. Experience in Compliance Testing or Internal/External Audit/Surveillance is an advantage. Strong team player with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with peers and business leaders.Ability to evaluate and interpret information and reach logical fact-based conclusionsStrong oral and written communication skills.Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive.Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized.Good presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging,
