This role is crucial for recreating real-world e-commerce scenarios to validate AI outputs, ensuring they meet critical standards for customer conversion, trust, platform compliance, and optimal customer experience. Design and Recreate E-commerce Workflows: Model and document complex marketplace processes, including product listing/de-listing, content moderation, inventory sync issues, merchant/seller support queries, and merchandising knowledge base upkeep. Assess AI performance in critical scenarios like automated product titling, category classification, compliance checks, and customer-facing support responses related to orders, refunds, and returns, ensuring accuracy and brand voice. Simulate Key Marketplace Operations: Replicate complex scenarios such as seller-side escalations, SLA tracking for order fulfilment/returns, and quality audits within the platform ecosystem. Contribute to AI Training: Provide structured annotations, high-quality data sets, and domain expertise to improve the training and evaluation of LLMs for better e-commerce functionality. E-commerce Domain Expertise: Proven experience in a customer-facing or operations role within an E-commerce Marketplace (e.g., Seller Support, Merchandising, Catalogue Management, or Customer Service for a large retailer). Workflow & Operations Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with key operational or ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, ServiceNow, Jira, or proprietary E-commerce/Merchandising back-end tools. Exceptional Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify logical gaps and compliance shortcomings in AI outputs within complex e-commerce and regulatory workflows. AI/Data Fluency: A working understanding of how operational data is used to train and evaluate predictive models or Large Language Models (LLMs). Content Excellence: Excellent written English with a focus on creating clear, compliant, and training-quality content essential for both the product catalogue and customer communication.
