Location: NoidaJob Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Web Hosting / Cloud Infrastructure / Saa SAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a proactive and technically skilled Linux / Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. You’ll manage, optimize, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and cloud environments, ensuring seamless uptime and top performance for global clients. The role demands ownership, deep technical curiosity, and the ability to handle high-impact infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and troubleshoot Linux servers (Ubuntu, Cent OS, Debian) across hosting and cloud platforms.Diagnose and resolve performance, load, I/O, service, and network issues.Deploy and tune LAMP/LEMP stacks (Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, My SQL/Maria DB).Monitor systems with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana , and proactively act on alerts.Perform log analysis (syslog, journalctl, secure, application logs) for incident resolution.Apply security patches, OS updates , and implement hardening best practices.Automate tasks and server maintenance using Bash, Ansible, or Python.Support cloud migrations and setups across AWS / Digital Ocean / similar providers.Configure networking, firewall, and load-balancing for high-availability environments.Manage hosting control panels (c Panel, Plesk, Webmin, Virtualmin).Create and maintain technical documentation, RCA reports, and internal KBs.Provide direct client support via email, ticketing, and chat—resolving escalated cases independently.Technical ExpertiseOperating Systems: Ubuntu, Cent OS, DebianWeb Stack: Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, My SQL/Maria DBMonitoring: Zabbix, Prometheus, GrafanaAutomation / Scripting: Bash, Ansible, Python (basic)Security: iptables, firewalld, SSL/TLS, OS hardeningVirtualization: KVM, LXC, Docker (optional but preferred)AWS Cloud Services:Compute & Storage: EC2, EBS, S3Scaling & Load Management: Auto Scaling, Load Balancer (ALB/ELB)Networking & CDN: Route 53, Cloud FrontMonitoring & Logging: Cloud WatchDev Ops / CI-CD: ECS, ECR, Code Pipeline, LambdaDatabase: RDSRequirements2–4 years of experience as a Linux / Cloud Support or System EngineerProven skills in Linux server administration and troubleshootingFamiliar with AWS and virtualization technologiesComfortable in 24×7 or rotational shifts for global client supportStrong communication and client-handling abilityPrior experience in ticket-based support systems
