Purpose of the role :
Incumbent will be a part of our Supplier Development Team, leading the development of Suppliers for India’s first Fab from TATA Electronics. A completely greenfield project exposes the resource in developing and managing team doing the most challenging job of identifying and qualifying suppliers across the globe for Semi equipments, Utilities, Metrology, Automation, Wafer handling & storage systems and many more for the main and the sub-fab’s.
Responsibilities
Build a strong Supplier development engineering team to have required skills set to manage the upcoming Fab
Asses the current capabilities at existing suppliers or identify a new supplier who can meet technical specification of Fab and sub fab equipments and modules (Chambers, Mainframe, EFEM, FI, Piping, Power distribution, gas distribution, RF, etc)
Work to develop assessment process to conduct QMS and Technical Audits for suppliers.
Conduct Quality systems audit and technical audits to identify gaps at suppliers and develop improvement roadmap.
Work with supplier to improve their Engineering capability of product design and implement innovative ideas to meet the stringent semi conductor equipment and metrology requirements
Drive the team to resolve the high value problems at supplier impacting the yield through methodical RC/CA
Assess and bring the new capabilities and technologies to meet the quality requirements of the product.
Qualification
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Any certification on Semi, Project Management with 12 to 15 years of experience.

Additional Requirements
Working knowledge in a semiconductor industry and deep knowledge on semiconductor processes like deposition, Etch, Lithography, Polishing, etc
Exposure to surface finishing and special processes of semiconductor equipments like Plating, Anodizing, cleaning, Polishing, etc
Manufacturing process awareness & knowledge in Semi modules like Chambers, FI, ATM Robots, Vacuum robots, RF Generators and matches, etc
Awareness on semiconductor standards of manufacturing and safety is mandatory (SEMI S2, SEMI S8, etc)
Deep knowledge of development process and production ramp up
Exposure to global procurement strategies & suppliers
Good interpersonal and Communication skills
