  • Design, develop, and test Java-based solutions using common standards and frameworks such as JAXB, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JPA, Java EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Adhere to software development source control processes and design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable Java code.
  • Participate in designing technical solutions to solve complex business problems and perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Work on platforms related to Data Analytics, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence to provide strong products.
  • Develop Java services (microservices/REST) using Java Spring Boot framework and work with databases like Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL Server.
  • Possess a solid working experience in Java, OOP, SOA, modular code development, design patterns, and multi-threading.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and drive design and architecture discussions across the team.
  • Stay updated with new skills, technologies, and languages to support the application portfolio and demonstrate a strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and Java technologies.
  • Show proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST services, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, SQL, and frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a Java Developer focusing on core Java, JSP, Servlets, MVC architecture, and good command of the Java programming language.
  • Ability to work on W2 contract hires and willingness to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with Java messaging services like RabbitMQ, Kafka, and ActiveMQ, as well as familiarity with Protractor, Cucumber, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience in development using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and microservices, along with knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and jQuery.
  • Strong coding and debugging abilities with advanced knowledge of Java and .NET, and familiarity with container orchestration/scheduling technologies like Kubernetes and Apache Mesos.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interpret and understand functional requirements.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, SOA technology stack, ESB, UDDI, and experience with Web Services technologies.
  • Familiarity with debugging and monitoring systems like Splunk and Optier, and a good understanding of Spring/Hibernate framework and Real-time Processing technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in relevant fields like Computer Science or related disciplines.
