We serve as the complete accounting and finance backbone for our clients, primarily in the food & beverage sector across international markets. Our expertise spans business planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting, enabling our clients to focus on their core business operations. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager - Accounting & Finance to lead and manage the complete accounting and finance function for our food & beverage clients in the Gulf region. This role requires a seasoned professional who can take full ownership of financial operations while providing strategic insights to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will combine technical accounting expertise with strong business acumen and exceptional interpersonal skills. Financial Management & Reporting Oversee and execute day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management Compile, analyze, and interpret comprehensive financial statements in accordance with local Gulf country regulations and international financial reporting standards Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities Planning & Analysis Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget deviations Support strategic business planning initiatives through financial modeling and analysis Create ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients regarding financial matters Provide strategic financial guidance and business recommendations to clients Ensure timely delivery of all financial services and reporting requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field CA Inter qualified or CA (Chartered Accountant) certification preferred Experience Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles Proven experience in the food & beverage industry strongly preferred Previous experience working with Gulf country clients or GCC accounting practices is highly desirable Experience in client-facing roles with international businesses Advanced proficiency in ERP accounting software (Microsoft Business Central experience strongly preferred) Point of Sale Software experience Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong ability to interpret, analyze, and present complex financial data Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and Gulf country specific regulations Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Leadership Qualities Competitive salary package commensurate with experience Opportunity to work with international clients in the dynamic food & beverage sector Professional development and growth opportunities
