Hiring "Consulting Manager" for a Management Consulting MNC based in New Delhi. Incumbent will be groomed and elevated to the role of "Country Manager" in next 6 months to manage pan India business operations and handle Profit and Loss of company. Candidate with strong team handling, Business Development and project handling experience will be a right fit.
Purpose
As a Consulting Manager, you will work with and lead diverse teams of individuals with expertise in engineering, the sciences, financial and operational analysis, geographic analysis, and applied economics. You will work independently and in teams with leading Fortune 500 and 1000 companies on engagements that help them build and expand their businesses in Asian markets. As a manager, you will oversee, plan and execute multiple projects within our consulting, M&A, or economic development practice. You will be responsible for presenting findings and reports to clients senior management and C-level executives on strategic, financial, and operational decisions.
Consulting Managers will generally organize and manage multiple consulting engagement teams to effectively deliver strategic analysis and tactical commercial advice to the companys clients as contracted, on-schedule, within budget and exceeding the clients expectations. They will also work with directors and the business development team to strategize, plan, and execute new ways to grow individual practices.
Role & Responsibilities
Assign resources, oversee and lead engagement teams to deliver consulting assignments on-schedule and within the company's profitability targets.
- Execute and deliver consulting engagement tasks on-schedule and within assigned costs when assigned as a leader of an engagement team.
- Develop new consulting business either with existing or new clients.
- Lead and develop staff to ensure their effectiveness in delivering appropriate and accurate advice to clients as part of a cohesive team.
- Actively participate in the global management team and administration of the companys consulting practice.
Skills and qualifications
- Excellent at critically assessing problems through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Academic or professional experience undertaking market or financial analysis preferably at a professional services firm (consulting, market research, banking/finance) or within industry (FMCG, manufacturing, medical devices, healthcare, etc.)
- Takes the initiative to identify creative solutions to client and company problems.
- Proven consulting, project management and leadership skills.
- Proactive, responsible and able to work under pressure.
- Experience executing engagements and taking responsibility to ensure project and client tasks are executed on time and at the highest level of quality.
- Demands that all deliverables are accurate and within set formats.
- Able to use all MS software products competently at an advanced level. Other software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, STATA, SPSS, Arc Editor, a plus.
- BA/BSc degree from a top-ranked university in any discipline; an honors degree is a distinct advantage.
- Advanced degree in business, economics, management, engineering or the sciences or professional equivalent an advantage.
- Living or working in India at least 5 years
- Excellent written and oral professional business communication and presentation skills in English and local language.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
