System Lead

Roles and Responsibility
- Lead the development of high-voltage battery systems for electric vehicles and energy storage applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure product design and development align with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor systems project performance and provide recommendations as required.
- Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency in product development and testing.
- Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs.
- Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members.\
- Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the systems engineering team, including mentoring and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide technical solutions to meet their needs.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in high-voltage battery systems and apply this knowledge to product development and testing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and components for product development and testing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum of ten 8 years of experience in systems engineering, product development, or related field.
- Minimum of five 5 years of experience leading and managing a team of engineers and technical specialists.
- Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage battery systems, including design, testing, and validation.
- Experience with electric vehicles or energy storage systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
