Title: General Manager: Public Policy and ProjectsTravel & Location: Yes, up to 40% of the time. Location: New Delhi, India (On-site) Objectives:Actively monitor and assess emerging policies, regulatory issues and operational challenges which can have impact on Swiggy businesses.Build and maintain relationships with important stakeholders including central and state governments, trade associations, NGOs, academia and think tanks.Develop and implement strategies for effective policy advocacy to protect brand reputation.Job Responsibilities:Stay apprised of corporate priorities, strategies, operating challenges, targets and portfolio to assess impact of policy and regulatory changes.Monitor the developments in sectors - eCommerce, food and beverages, hyperlocal markets, logistics, FMCG, fintech, taxation and develop corresponding policy positions and briefings to support the business.Actively identify opportunities to pursue conducive regulatory policies that could positively impact Swiggy businesses.Develop working relationships with stakeholders to advance and protect Swiggy interests and reputation.Possess excellent knowledge of relevant international policies, trends, regulations, benchmarks, best practices and apply analytical skills effectively in Indian context to create working papers and research reports.Work with a cross-functional team such as business, operations, PR, marketing, product, compliance to drive strategic projects and generate impact.Represent Swiggy and work extensively with industry groups, think tanks, media and associations, that includes providing inputs, drafting strategic positions and support in advocacy efforts.Required Qualification:Proven experience (at least 8 years) in the fields of public policy, law, technology, economics or management and masters in any of these fields
