Job Description – HR Generalist
Role: HR Generalist
Experience: -5 years
Functional Area: Digital/Advertising/Marketing
Education Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR
Location: Bangalore
Must-have’s for Joining Us:
☐ MBA/PGDM from a reputed college.
☐ Worked as a full role HR generalist in an organization for at least 5 years out of the entire experience managing a team of 50+ employees.
☐ Working knowledge on PF, ESI, Mediclaim, Payroll process using tools like greythr, Zoho People or equivalent, Performance Appraisal.
☐ Handled employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
☐ Open to employee engagement activities and open to executing & anchoring internal events.
The HR Lead is responsible for managing the entire spectrum of talent management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, employee engagement, Performance Management, Grievance handling and Employee Exit Management.
This role is critical to business delivery & success. From ensuring hiring at the right time, to tracking & managing engagement & attrition, the role helps manage the field force to high performance and ensures continuity of business.
Job Description:
- Pre-employment reference check, Salary negotiation, Raising Offer Letter, Follow up till closure and onboarding.
- Managing the new hire process (Induction, full filling joining formalities, updating details on various HR tools, issuing appointment letters)
- Handling the leave management, insurance, benefits, and statutory part including ESI, PF, income tax, gratuity of existing and exited employees.
- Manage Payroll input for salary disbursements.
- Gather and analyses monthly data for probation confirmation, performance management, Open positions for HR metrics on monthly basis
- Coordinate quarterly and annual employee performance reviews and to make decision with managers on performance management.
- Assisting employees in resolving queries related to human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards.
- Support business objective through implementation and improvisation of human resource policies and processes.
- Driving Talent Engagement and Retention through multiple initiatives (Includes coordinating Employee Birthdays, office trips, cultural programs, team outings, development activities)
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics also Building Employee Connect and Relations, including resolution of conflict.
- Coordinating the Trainings and development Programs.
- Assist recruitment team whenever applicable for specific manpower/skill requirement.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 5 years of experience in functional HR and operations, involved in the complete cycle of Human Resources Management in a growing employee Organization.
- Handled the HR process end to end single handedly with a team of 50+ for at least 5 years.
- Good Knowledge of payroll lifecycle & also exposure to one of the tools like greythr.
- Strong management, public speaking and motivation skills to communicate with the overall team whenever required.
- Strong networking, collaboration, and interpersonal skills - ability to build relationships of trust with a wide range of individuals and teams.
