About WEH Ventures
WEH Ventures is an early stage fund that has been investing in pre-seed & seed startups since 2017. The fund takes a concentrated approach to early-stage investing & some of the better known portfolio companies include Jar, smallcase, Pratilipi, AppsforBharat, Masterchow, NOTO & Unbox Robotics, amongst others. The fund believes in backing “Emerging Founders” – ie folks who don’t yet have a long standing track record but do have some experience & a lot of passion in what they’re building. The fund is operated by a close-knit team of 4 split across Mumbai & Bangalore.
Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing and Content Intern to join our team in Bangalore. This role is suitable for undergraduate students in their final year who are eligible for a full-time internship for 3-6 months .
The primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Social Media Management : Overseeing marketing activities through social media platforms, managing the company's LinkedIn handle.
- Content Creation : Developing engaging content for our social media channels, website, newsletters, and other marketing initiatives.
- Events Coordination : Assisting in organizing events targeted at founders, VCs, and limited partners (LPs).
- Branding Initiatives : Supporting branding efforts for specific initiatives undertaken by the fund.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in fields like BBA, BCom, Mass Communication, Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, or related areas.
- Interest in marketing and the start-up ecosystem.
- Strong writing, communication and people skills.
- Creative skills, including basic design knowledge using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, and Figma.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with designers for more complex projects.
- Highly proactive and organized, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
