ROLE OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE

  • Conducting detailed secondary searches for identification, analysis and reporting of project-relevant data to derive meaningful/actionable insights
  • Execution of short turnaround and long-term projects concurrently
  • Prepare and/or assist in preparation of scientific documents such as reviews, manuscripts, abstracts, publication summaries, posters and conference presentation

Summaries the treOTatment guidelines for selected therapeutic indications

  • Efficiency – Effective retrieval of information by identifying relevant data sources, formulating efficient search strategies, critically evaluate information and organize data for analysis


  • Accuracy - Ability to assess validity of sources, accuracy of information gathered, data gaps if any and steps to plug in the data gaps


Quality & Presentation of reports – Good scientific writing with well- structured and formatted content, correct usage of English language, usage of right templates and audience-appropriate. Presenting scientific information in a crisp and succinct form in a infographics. Follow specific branding guidelines.


COMPETENCIES & SKILL SET

Must have:

  • Clear understanding and exposure to PHARMACEUTICALS/Healthcare/Pharma Healthcare space, demonstrate clear acumen in scientific and business research. Well versed with extracting scientific information from Scientific database like pubmed, Embase etc. Process of Systematic literature review.
  • Report scientific document writing skills - creating reports that offer contextually relevant insights
  • Expertise in secondary research with experience in using databases and open sources.
  • Proven strengths/clear aptitude in performing literature analysis and deriving insights
  • Knowledge on MS Office (esp. Word, PowerPoint (advance expertise) and basic Excel) and Internet searching skills are mandatory
  • Good scientific writing with well- structured and formatted content, correct usage of English language.
  • Must exhibit following core behaviors:

Good to have:

  • Should understand the regulatory climate relevant to PHARMACEUTICALS/Rx space esp. in US/Europe
  • Exposure to text mining related projects
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools incl. charts and graphs, smart arts etc.
  • Basic statistics
  • Knowledge of scientific visualization tools such as graph pad prism/SIGMA plot.
