About ValetEZ
ValetEZ is an IoT and AI-enabled smart parking solutions firm that designs technology solutions to digitise parking spaces and eliminate vehicle owners' daily pain when parking in their city. The firm also develops and deploys an EV Charging network under the brand ‘ChargeEZ’. We focus on building a massive digitised parking and charging network that allows users to find and access parking spaces and EV charging stations across the country. ValetEZ operates in 15+ cities and has handled over 140Mn+ transactions to date.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist/Officer to join our team and manage the payroll and compliance for our blue-collar workforce across multiple locations in India.
What you would be expected to do:
Payroll Management
Handle end-to-end payroll processing for the blue-collar workforce across multiple states in India.
Calculate and process salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions monthly.
Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, including central and state-specific regulations.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure accurate submission of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory contributions.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reports.
Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Employee Background Verification
Oversee the background police verification process for all employees.
Coordinate with external agencies and ensure timely completion of verification.
Payroll Software Management
Maintain and operate payroll management software with accuracy and efficiency.
Track daily attendance and changes in the employee workforce through the software.
Continuously evaluate and suggest system improvements for better payroll processing.
Employee Support
Address payroll-related queries and ensure timely resolution.
Provide detailed payroll reports to management and assist in audits when necessary.
Process Improvement
Identify areas for improving payroll and compliance processes.
Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in payroll processing and compliance in India.
Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory regulations at both central and state levels.
Proficiency in payroll management software (e.g., GreytHR, Saral, Spine, etc).
Experience in team handling.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
