Now investing from $120M Fund V , we have partnered with 50+ companies across Fintech, SaaS, Healthtech, Edtech, Logistics, ClimateTech, and Consumer Tech.Some of our portfolio companies include WheelsEye, Sunstone, Niyo, Dozee, Bolt.Earth, MyGate , with notable exits such as Happay → CRED, Recko → Stripe, Ezetap → Razorpay, Tracxn (IPO) .About the RoleThe Portfolio Finance Manager will act as the finance & commercial interface between Prime and our portfolio companies- spanning pre-investment, investment, and post-investment stages.You’ll help founders build strong financial systems, shape governance, manage key transactions, and drive performance across the portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Investment & Investment SupportDrive financial & legal due diligence with founders and service providersManage smooth closure of transactions up to fund wiringHelp define key financial metrics and review processesSupport cap-table management and follow-on round planningPortfolio Finance & GovernanceAct as an early-stage Finance Controller when requiredBuild and maintain Prime’s portfolio finance databaseDevelop portfolio engagement playbooks and automation toolsReview financial metrics, governance practices, and reporting disciplineConduct special checks and interventions where neededValuation & TransactionsReview valuation updates and key business leversSupport external valuation exercises for exits, secondary sales, and auditsCoordinate on SHA matters, Board meetings, AGMs, and reserve mattersConnect founders with relevant legal, audit, tax, and DD partnersCommunity & Best PracticesBuild a finance community across the portfolioFacilitate cross-learning, rewards, recognitions, and recurring touch pointsBenchmark against VC industry practices and implement best-in-class standardsDevelop templates, processes, and foundational documentationWhat You BringPost CA, 6+ years in finance roles (startups, internet companies, VCs preferred)Strong analytical, numerical, and data interpretation skillsHigh intellectual curiosity + structured problem solvingHustle, ownership mindset, and ability to multitaskInterested?If this sounds exciting, we’d like to hear from you.Apply ( ) or DM us directly here on LinkedIn.
