Job Overview
Pranatree LLC is seeking highly qualified Operations Research Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bangalore (with additional opportunities in Pune and Gurgaon). We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in advanced operations research methodologies and computational modeling. In this role, you will develop and implement optimization models and computational solutions to tackle complex business problems, contributing significantly to data-driven decision-making processes within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Advanced Models: Design and implement sophisticated operations research models to optimize various business processes.
- Algorithm Implementation: Create and refine algorithms for solving large-scale computational challenges efficiently.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across departments to identify problem areas and provide comprehensive, data-driven solutions.
- Simulations and Testing: Develop simulation models to test, analyze, and validate proposed solutions for various scenarios.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning and Application: Stay current with the latest developments in operations research and computational strategies to incorporate into company projects.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and encouraging knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Masters in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Technical Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge in mathematical modeling, optimization algorithms, and computational methods.
- Proficiency in programming language C (mandatory).
- Experience with optimization tools like Gurobi, CPLEX, or similar software.
- Familiarity with machine learning and data analysis frameworks is a plus.
Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions for complex problems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
- Teamwork: Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team environment.
