Title Structural Design Engineer – Solar Industry Location Ahmedabad, Gujarat Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience renewable industry.

Proficiency in civil engineering design software and tools.

Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently and within a team.

Experience in solar project development, construction, or operations.

Familiarity with renewable energy project financing and economics.

Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices.

Proficiency in Auto CAD, STAAD.

Pro or other relevant design software.

Role Requirements Civil Design and Permitting: Lead the civil design phase of solar projects, including site layout, foundation design, and structural considerations.

Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Foundation Design: Design and oversee the construction of foundations for solar panels and related infrastructure, ensuring stability and durability in various soil and climate conditions.

Infrastructure Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and design infrastructure components such as access roads, fencing, and drainage systems to support solar projects.

Project Management: Manage and oversee contractors and subcontractors during the construction phase, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Quality Assurance and Safety: Implement and monitor quality control and safety protocols to ensure that all construction activities meet industry standards and safety requirements.

Cost Management: Work to optimize project costs, providing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project plans, engineering calculations, construction progress, and as-built documentation.
