JD -
Mandate skills -
SAP S4 HANA ABAP Developer with a history of successful ABAP projects.
Solid understanding of Agile & Scrum.
Proficiency in SAP Interface Programming & knowledge of integration / SAP UI5
Key Responsibilities:
ABAP Development for backend programs and integration requirements
Data transfer and dashboard monitoring tool development with ABAP
SAP Gateway development experience with knowledge in DPC and MPC EXT methods
Knowledge on SAP Solution Manager module is preferred to enhance the standard solutions
Work experience in Upgrade projects
Work experience in Screen Programming, Interface and Monitoring applications
Work experience in Enhancements and Modifications
Knowledge on Job Management module of SAP
Knowledge on Transport Management System and Version Management of the objects
Understanding the requirements in SAP Change Management Functional area including Solution Manager, Cha RM and Focused Build
Good understanding on o Data Framework and REST Architecture
Conceptual knowledge on Fiori Development
CRUD operations with Gateway Services
Intermediate knowledge on application architecture and design for SAP projects
Co-ordination with Development team on implementing recommendations.
Doing the impact analysis on existing system for any new product, application, project, or technology
Perform code reviews and suggest best practices and approaches.
Proactively learn and understanding technologies and implement them to enhance user experience, performance and quality.
Conduct testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven experience as an SAP ABAP and S4 HANA ABAP Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful ABAP projects.
Proficiency in SAP Interface Programming including BAPI, IDocs and APIs
Familiarity with SAP Gateway, OData services, and integration of Fiori/UI5 applications with SAP backend systems.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with CI/CD processes is a plus.
