Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or successful completion of a relevant internship in data analysis, logistics, or MIS roles.
Job Summary
The Management Information System Executive is responsible for managing and analyzing logistics data to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role includes coordinating with multiple departments, maintaining databases, generating insightful reports, and supporting decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Analysis
- Collect, compile, and analyze logistics data from various sources.
- Maintain and update logistics databases and systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Reporting
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on logistics performance, including KPIs, cost analysis, and efficiency metrics.
- Present data insights and trends to management to support strategic decisions.
Process Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement within logistics operations.
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all logistics activities.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce , Economics , Statistics , Mathematics , or a related field.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and data visualization tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience with reporting tools or software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
