Job Description:
HotWax Commerce is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and work on cloud systems. As a DevOps Engineer you will be engaged in many projects working as part of a growing team.
In this role you will be responsible for implementing, automating, deploying, monitoring and administering our applications infrastructure and take responsibility for the availability, performance, infrastructure security and scalability of our product

Experience working with AWS Services like EC2, ECS, WAF, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS, AKS is preferred
Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git is preferred
A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc)
Experience working on Linux based infrastructure (Patch management, IPtable/Firewall/WAF/SSH Security etc.) is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Deploy and maintain applications on cloud.
Configure, manage and upgrade tools like GitLab, Jenkins, MySQL, MSSQL, Kubernetes clusters.
Maintain CI/CD (continuous integration and deployment ) pipelines for existing clients and configuring CI/CD practices for new clients
Deploy pods/container on Kubernetes cluster using CI/CD and Helm
Manage incidents and do root cause analysis for issues in the production system.
Rolling out fixes and upgrades to production.
Take responsibility for the availability, performance, infrastructure security and scalability of our product
Brainstorm new cloud products, updates, solutions and services to continuously challenge and improve our SAAS products, performance, system/data backup, security and customer experience.
Identify areas that can benefit from automation, monitoring and infrastructure-as-code and develop and scale products and services accordingly.
Establish, maintain and evolve concepts for publishing custom applications on AWS Marketplace.
Setup and manage centralized Log and Monitoring System (ELK, Grafana, Loki, Promtail and Prometheus etc.)
Keep up-to-date on industry trends and share knowledge among teams.
