Position Overview: The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving all revenue-generating activities within the EMEA and India markets. This includes leading sales, revenue operations, customer success, and go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling B2 B Saa S businesses, deep expertise in the EMEA and India markets, and a passion for building and optimizing high-performing teams. With over 15 years of experience in revenue operations, sales leadership, P&L management, and a background as a former entrepreneur or co-founder, the CRO will play a critical role in achieving our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy and Growth:
Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy tailored to the EMEA and India markets.
Define and oversee revenue goals, forecasting, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels to drive growth.
Sales Leadership:
Lead and mentor high-performing sales teams across EMEA and India to achieve and exceed targets.
Establish a scalable sales framework that includes pipeline management, account planning, and sales enablement.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Revenue Operations and P&L Management:
Oversee revenue operations, ensuring seamless alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
Manage the P&L for the EMEA and India regions, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize pricing, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value.
Customer Success and Retention:
Collaborate with the customer success team to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
Develop strategies to upsell and cross-sell solutions to existing clients.
Act as a trusted advisor to key customers and partners, ensuring strong relationships and long-term loyalty.
Market Expertise and Thought Leadership:
Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments within the EMEA and India regions.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as a thought leader.
Leverage market insights to influence product development and innovation.
Qualifications and Skills:
15+ years of experience in sales, revenue operations, and P&L management within the B2 B Saa S industry.
Deep understanding of the EMEA and India markets, including cultural nuances, regulatory landscapes, and business practices.
Proven track record of scaling revenue in high-growth Saa S organizations.
Experience as a founder, co-founder, or entrepreneur, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in working within a startup or entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
