About the Role - Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients during the early stages of the project to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives for identity governance.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to gather technical and functional requirements.
  • Analyze existing IAM infrastructure and processes to recommend the most effective SailPoint solutions.
  • Develop detailed project plans and design documents based on workshop findings and client input.
  • Deploy, Install and Integrate the SailPoint IdentityIQ and IdentityNow product(s)in clients environments.
  • Custom connectors and interfacing with enterprise systems, e.g., SAP, ServiceNow, cloud applications–design and development
  • IAM product implementation — configuration and customization to meet business needs.
  • Workflows for user lifecycle events: Development and management of workflows that support business processes around joiner, mover, and leaver events in the lifecycle of a user..
  • Implementation of provisioning-de-provisioning and end-user self-service capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system incident incidents exposed to Identities, Access, Authentication and Authorization.
  • AD, Exchange, RDBMS, LDAP4 Integrate your solution with other applications.
  • Design bespoke SailPoint rules and workflows as per the customer need.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SailPoint configurations, integrations, or performance.
  • User Training and Technical Documentation

Required Skills

The Key Skills Needed and the Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
  • Over 5 years of experience in enterprise software development and implementation, and at least 3 focusing on SailPoint technologies.
  • Good knowledge/experience with Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL.
  • Familiarity with Web technologies including XML, SPML/SOAP, and HTML.
  • Experience with databases – Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, directory services – LDAP, Active Directory.
  • Awareness of concepts such as Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Separation of Duties (SoD).
  • Deep knowledge of security fundamentals and compliance standards e.g., SOX, GDPR.
  • Familiarity with IAM standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SCIM, and OpenID Connect
  • Problem-solving and communication skills, excellent.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow.
  • Knowledge of Privilege Access Management solutions.
  • Experience with other IAM/IGA tools like OneIdentity, Oracle IAM or Saviynt.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies .
  • The delivery of robust IAM solutions will require core technical capabilities focused on solving complex problems, service delivery with client-facing and cross-functional team skills.
