About Contineu
Contineu is changing the way construction projects are monitored and managed. We're using helmet mounted 360cameras to automatically track and manage construction projects, capturing site details contractors need without manual input. Funded company with paying customers, and a fast-growing product/team.
We're hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our company.
You'll create scalable systems and efficient algorithms for 3D reconstruction, segmentation, and depth estimation, integrating them with backend infrastructure handling millions of square feet of construction data.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience .
- Strong CS fundamentals and algorithm design skills.
- Proficiency in distributed systems and backend development.
- Experience in Infrastructure and Deployment of said backend systems on AWS .
- Familiarity with ML/AI concepts and their backend/deployment pipelines is a plus.
- You like to have fun at work.
- (OPTIONAL) You play Minecraft and wish to contribute to the company server.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, scalable backend services
- Optimize algorithms for 3D data processing and analysis
- Architect and implement efficient data pipelines for processing construction site imagery
- Build and maintain APIs for internal and external services
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Handle CI/CD pipelines and deployments
- Collaborate with ML and frontend teams to integrate solutions
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Monitor and optimize system performance
- Contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions

- Backend: Python, Go

- Infrastructure: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
