About Us Rage Effect is India's first AAA game studio building a cross-platform competitive shooter with 200,000+ organic users. We're integrating web3 features to revolutionise player ownership and community engagement that drives the game's direction.
Role Overview We're seeking a Rust developer to develop NFT integration and blockchain features for our gaming ecosystem. This is a full-time role working directly with our core development team.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement NFT integration systems using Rust on Solana Build secure smart contracts for in-game assets and marketplace functionality
Create efficient APIs for blockchain-game interactions
Optimise on-chain programs for maximum performance
Collaborate with game developers to ensure seamless web3 feature integration
Contribute to technical architecture decisions
Required Skills Strong proficiency in Rust programming Experience with Solana
Understanding of NFT standards and implementations
Experience with API development and integration
Knowledge of gaming tech stacks (Unity/Unreal) is a plus
Hackathon winning experience is a strong plus (especially in web3/blockchain)
Ideal Background Open source contributions Hackathon participation/awards
Previous gaming or web3 project experience
Experience with cross-platform development Active participation in developer communities
