The Team : Within Rakuten Symphony, the Quality Assurance Office department is working as a central organization inside the Internet Service Business Unit (ISBU) with the different product development team to secure Rakuten LINK, Rakuten Drive, Send Anywhere and CPaa S applications and services meet our Customer's needs, expectations, and managing any Quality risks. The Role: QA Engineer We execute our QA mission through the ・Execution and monitoring of the development cycle and product deliveries, ・Pursuing process efficiency from standardization, systematic improvements and increased automation, Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field At least 7 years work experience as automation engineer Experience in 1 or more programming languages, preferably Java or Kotlin programming language Experience in API automation using Karate, SOAPUI/Rest Assured or other API automation frameworks Experience in pipeline creation, good understanding of CI/CD process and tools like Jenkins, Circle CI etc. Experience in mobile automation using Appium on Android & i OS platforms Experience in Web automation using Selenium Experience in using VCS like Github, Gitlbab, or Bitbucket English proficiency (written and verbal communication) Preferred Qualification: Understanding of feature differences across various mobile devices (both Android and i OS) that are relevant to test automation. Experience in cloud based device testing platforms like Kobiton, Sauce Labs, etc Experience in performance testing. Experience in working with SDLC & understanding the development process Experience in using Docker Mandatory Skills: Kotlin Maven Selenium & Appium Jenkins Bitbucket Responsibilities: Execute test cases, report defects, and ensure they are properly tracked and resolved. Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure software quality. Write and maintain test automation scripts to streamline testing processes. Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to ensure alignment on testing processes and priorities. Monitor and maintain test automation pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery. Investigate issues, perform detailed analysis of functionality specifications, and recommend improvements to enhance the customer journey. Develop and maintain the QA Automation Framework to support scalable and efficient testing. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and automation testing.
