Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in lighting design with a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional lighting solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing lighting plans, selecting appropriate fixtures, and ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and technical standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and clients while staying informed of the latest trends and technologies in lighting design.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive lighting plans for interior and exterior spaces.
Select appropriate lighting fixtures and materials.
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients to understand project requirements.
Ensure all lighting designs meet aesthetic, technical, and code compliance standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in lighting design.
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for lighting installations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
Conduct site visits to assess lighting needs and installation progress.
Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.
Review and approve lighting design proposals and plans.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for lighting products.
Prepare BOQ and budgets for lighting projects.
Present lighting design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Conduct lighting simulations and calculations.
Ensure energy-efficient and sustainable lighting solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve any lighting design issues.
Maintain project documentation and records.
Participate in design review meetings and workshops.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
4+ years of proven experience in lighting design.
Strong portfolio showcasing lighting design projects.
Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, Auto CAD, Photoshop, Revit).
Excellent understanding of lighting principles and techniques.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient lighting solutions.
Ability to conduct lighting simulations and calculations.
Experience in residential and commercial projects.
Ability to travel for local site visits across North-East India.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience:
4+ years of proven experience in Lighting Design.
Proficiency in DIALux, Photoshop, and Auto CAD is essential.
Technical knowledge of Endo and Delta products is a plus.
