Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview:
The selected candidate will be a key member of our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance at C-Electric Automotive Drives, from setting up test strategies and processes to managing quality standards. This position requires excellent knowledge of automotive components manufacturing, as well as strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of 6-10 people.
Skills Required:
- Planning, management, and organizational skills to effectively run and monitor the quality assurance process.
- The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers, and vendors.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- A results-driven approach to work with the ability to operate in a logical, systematic manner.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and multitask.
- B.E. or Diploma equivalent qualification with 5-7 years of experience in Tier-1 automotive component manufacturing (EMS experience is an added advantage).
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and testing (experience in electric vehicles is an added advantage).

Job Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System: Identify, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and business processes within the scope of the Quality Management System (QMS). Contribute to the design of the QMS and quantify the costs and business benefits of proposed changes.
- Quality Testing Design: Develop and validate complex new test methods and procedures for a product or operations segment, incorporating new technologies and meeting changing organizational, customer, and/or regulatory requirements.
- Quality Testing: Select and conduct appropriate tests using specialized methods and equipment; validate and interpret test data to ensure specifications are met and identify any remedial actions required to ensure conformance or suitability.
- Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures. Propose and implement improvements as part of a change management program under the guidance of a project/program manager.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends. Hold periodic meetings with stakeholders to discuss action plans based on analyzed data.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders, understanding their needs/issues/concerns, and responding by arranging meetings and events, and drafting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
- Organizational Capability Building: Utilize the organization’s formal development framework to identify the individual development needs of the team. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities.
Education Qualification:
- Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
