Title: IT Business Development and Sales Manager Location: REMOTE Duration: 6+ Months Job Summary The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts within the IT software development and consultancy services domain. This role requires a proactive leader with a proven track record in selling complex IT solutions and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of software development life cycles, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, as well as experience in consultative selling within the B2 B tech sector. Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor sales team members to help them mature and grow in their career skills and individual execution Talent Development: Provide mentorship, coaching, accountability, and growth opportunities to nurture talent within the team; Create and manage team and individual goals while optimizing for buy-in, priority, and great outcomes; Create and nurture a motivated and high-performing team. Collaboration: Collaborate with customers and team members across the organization, especially in Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Marketing, and Project Management, to help us all win as a team while delivering immense value to our customers Key Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand client base in targeted industries. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on software development, consulting services, and digital transformation offerings. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and technical stakeholders to understand their business needs and position as a trusted IT partner. Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and deal progression through the CRM system. Solution Selling: Work closely with technical teams to craft tailored proposals and presentations that highlight unique value proposition and address clients' specific needs. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to provide insights that shape product development, service offerings, and pricing strategies. Negotiations and Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and ensure smooth deal closure in collaboration with legal, finance, and technical teams. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT sales, software development consultancy, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development processes, digital transformation, and cloud, AI, Io T, or data analytics. Technical Skills: Familiarity with software solutions, digital transformation frameworks, and cloud technologies. Sales Skills: Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and compelling way. CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Microsoft Dynamics, for pipeline management and reporting. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
