Designation: Group Product Manager - International Business

Reporting To: Sr. General Manager

Location: HO @ Govandi, Mumbai.


Job Objective: Be a marketing resource person for managing OTC / Cardiac / Diabetic brands across Emerging markets and work on new business development (product portfolio and new countries) linked strategies.


Key Responsibility Areas

Marketing Strategies

  • Participate in formulation of marketing strategy, brand plan
  • Develop promotional activities for assigned portfolio in existing markets and newer markets
  • Prepare annual therapy plan

Support in effective implementation of strategies

  • Help Country managers / Local PMT to ensure timely procurement for team
  • Timely delivery of inputs
  • Dispatch plan for team
  • Train MRs on input
  • Feedback
  • Check ABMs and MRs understanding of strategies
  • Conceptualize & oversee digital campaigns done by external ad agency.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Maintain Rapport and customer contact with a given list of KOLs and seek insights to strengthen USV. Identify KOL needs and address them.
  • Develop KOLs and continuously monitor on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate with managers to ensure timely completion of activities/campaigns
  • Attend assigned meetings, conferences, CMEs to build and strengthen relationship with KOLs
  • Coordinate with CFT like regulatory/manufacturing /BD/finance etc to work on new products

Business Development (30 %)

  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Including new products, SKUs in existing markets
  • Strategic analysis of countries & therapies to identify potential future markets for EM / ROW markets.
  • Work on new market entry strategies

Self-Development

  • Identify areas of self-development with the help of CM and work on agreed action plan, which will be revived on a continuous basis.

Educational qualification and experience

  • Pharmacy graduate with MBA in marketing or international trade/business
  • Minimum experience; 8 to 10 years out of which last 2-4 years in international marketing
  • An exposure to business development activities will be an added advantage.
