You are good with people and have a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills. You are also comfortable with systems and administrative tasks and with managing a little team and keep them motivated. To prepare the bar area for service by compiling tasks specified on the opening/closing procedures Ensure all drinks are produced to the correct standard as specified in the bar manual To maintain required stock level at all times To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the bar at all times To have a full knowledge of all products available To report any dangerous, damaged or faulty equipment to the Department Manager To record any wastage in the wastage book To observe fire and health and safety regulations at all times To work as part of a team towards efficiency in the bar ensuring it retains a friendly environment Any other ad hoc duties as directed by Management Taking drink orders. Creating and serving beverages Using the micros system. Getting to know members and guests. Maintaining a clean and efficient bar. Dealing with complaints. Accounting of bill payments. Closing & opening procedures. Working within the order of service. Operating a bar station and controlling the flow of drinks Attend all training sessions as scheduled
