The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end procurement, from vendor sourcing and negotiation to import/export coordination — particularly for electronic goods and lab equipment sourced from China and other countries.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee procurement operations across all campus locations for infrastructure and technical requirements.- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, contractors, and suppliers (domestic and international).- Conduct first-hand negotiations for better pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.- Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and logistics for electronic and lab equipment.- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, government import norms, and institutional quality standards.- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships for long-term cost efficiency.- Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to plan procurement budgets and timelines.- Track market trends, pricing updates, and supplier performance.Requirements:- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering / Business Administration.- 4+ years of proven experience in infrastructure procurement or vendor management.- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, particularly for China and Southeast Asian markets.- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and vendor management tools.- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
