Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, AIML Engineering
The position is accountable to deliver highest quality software for next generation responsive applications, and solutions.
The ideal candidate should have experience in managing at least 50+ members of Software engineering team. People management skills are critical for the role
The position will be a key contributor in designing, coding, debugging, documenting, and
supporting software applications consistent with established specifications and business
requirements along with prior experience of leading and managing a large team.
Candidate should have relevant years of full stack software engineering experience in Java, Angular/React JS, Micro-Services, REST API and Cloud, along with understanding of ML application design and deployment. Hands-on engineering manager, responsible for leading a team of engineers and delivering highest quality products.
Responsibilities
· Solid understanding of application architecture and Enterprise Integration patterns.
· Strong experience building user interfaces with Angular/React JS.
· Strong experience in Java Programming (Strong Java Knowledge).
· Solid understanding of Multi-Threading, Collection Framework and JDK Streams.
· Deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes,and microservices architecture.
· Strong hands-on experience in one of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP with ability to design cloud architecture.
· Experience in design and architecture.
· Experience working with SQL and/or No SQL DBs.
· Collaborate with a cross-functional team of ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists to implement ML Solutions.
· Formulate and Present RFP responses for AI/ML requirements.
· Identify key machine learning technologies.
· Determine how they’ll fall into Genpact scheme of next generation products.
· Interfacing with Client/stakeholders/ product teams to implement new architectures.
· Interacting and supporting technically both internal engineering teams and
customers as needed.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
· BE/BTech in Computer Science/Computer engineering/E&C.
· Master’s degree is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
· Relevant years of IT experience in Application development and maintenance involving full stack technologies.
· Relevant years of relevant experience in People leadership.
· Lead a team of engineers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
· Should have experience in managing at least 50+ members of Software engineering team.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of projects.
· Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and enhancements.
· Champion the use of software development best practices, methodologies, and tools
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
· Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the required level of quality.
· Work closely with Dev Ops and QA teams to ensure successful deployment and testing of software releases.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user manuals.
· Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
· Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in software development and
leverage them to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
