Job Title: Spare Parts Manager
Location: Mumbai HO.
Experience: 2-4 years in Service department.
Key Responsibilities:
1)Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate stock levels of spare parts to ensure smooth operations.
- Regularly conduct stock audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Organize and manage the storage area for spare parts effectively.
2)Procurement:
- Forecast the demand for spare parts based on repair and service trends.
- Place orders with approved vendors to replenish stock as needed.
- Negotiate with suppliers to get the best pricing and delivery timelines.
3)Coordination with the Service Team:
- Collaborate with service engineers to ensure the timely availability of spare parts for repairs.
- Address urgent part requirements and prioritize critical needs.
- Keep the service team informed about lead times for spare parts delivery.
4)Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, and usage.
- Prepare monthly reports on stock movement and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.
5)Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly to ensure reliability.
6)Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in inventory management and procurement processes.
- Implement best practices to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Requirements:
- Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in spare parts management, inventory control, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the home appliances or service industry is a plus.
2)Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
3) Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or similar).
- Good knowledge of spare parts and their applications.
4)Other Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
