Relevant Experience
Lead Developer with10yrs expertise in SSRS,SSIS tools and SQL server.
Experience of 5 years on data analysis and converting functional requirements to technical.
Responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRAs/KPIs:
Able to design and create database and all database objects such as tables, views, Stored Procedures, functions etc.
Build, optimize and maintain the MS SQL Server Database that carries large volumes of data.
Database to Database partial data transfer expertise.
Participate in the analysis, design, development, troubleshooting and support of the enterprise reporting and analytics platform.
Design, construct, test and implement reporting, visualization, and dashboard processes that present reporting at summary level with functionality to drill down into detail.
Develop BI solutions using SQL,ETL scripting, business intelligence tools, database programming and reporting tools on the Microsoft BI Stack.
Integrate with diverse source systems (including but not limited to: In-House, Vendor-based, On-prem and Cloud-based, and Office365).
Work with Dev Ops team and participate in testing of all database-related changes and application updates.
Responsible for the day to day database development/administrative tasks which include the development of queries, views, and other database schema objects.
Lead role in establishing data management best practices to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Maintain data model architecture and schema, hierarchy within dataware house, and reporting systems.
Contribute to business continuity to cater for all BCP actions and DR plans.
Applying database tuning techniques to improve the performance of current solutions.
Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Prototype and build dashboards integrating multiple data sources.
Write and troubleshoot simple to complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, functions, etc. as per the requirement.
Troubleshoot and fix all performance issues with respect to databases (objects & scripts).
SQL Query tuning and performance tuning.
Develop/migrate existing scripts to SSIS.
Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures (using Pivots etc) to provide data to business owners and applications.
Create, publish and maintain ETL jobs.
Data Mining techniques.
Expert in SSIS package development, deployment and maintenance.
Maintains referential integrity, domain integrity and column integrity by using the available options such as constraints, etc.
Maintains database objects(like tables, views, Stored Procedures) performance by following the tuning tips like normalization, indexes, etc.
Seamless in carrying out – Imports and exports the data from different sources using tools, writing required scripts.
Assists project teams to design and develop core business components utilizing industry-accepted analysis and design standards.
Provides and/or assists with, project management and project leadership.
Mentors closely with team members to accomplish the projects.
Mandatory Technical Skills
Microsoft BI stack(SQL, SSIS, SSRS,SSAS)
QlikView and Power BI to analyze data and report conclusions.
Python and/or R desired.
Must have experience in reporting and BI solutions.
Must have development experience with relational database structures, multidimensional database, and data warehouse design architecture.
Experience with mobile deployment of business intelligence desired.
Must be able to develop, maintain, review and explain data models. Develop/migrate existing scripts to SSIS.
