Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Analyst at Bering Waters Ventures. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for conducting data analysis, generating insights, creating reports, and communicating findings to stakeholders. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Data Analysis, Report Generation, and Communication skills
  • Experience in generating insights and working with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead for selected potential investments and portfolio companies,
  • Developing investment thesis for new investment opportunities,
  • Constructing investment reports and data sheets,
  • Monitoring the progress of portfolio companies, and working with their teams to ensure their success,
  • Building connections between portfolio companies and our investor's network,
  • Co-investors relations,
  • Analyzing new investment opportunities and technologies,
  • Lead a team of Junior Analysts

Fundamental requirements:

  • You have Bachelors or master’s degree in a field related to the role, or equivalent experience.
  • You have a minimum 3+ years of continuous experience in a similar role.
  • You have at least 1 year experience of working in a start-up.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of producing high-quality documents and data-bases.
  • You have shown the ability to build and manage relationships with people, internally and externally
  • You have great strategic instincts and can exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations
  • You have great interpersonal and communications skills
  • You have outstanding analytical skills
  • You’re intellectually curious and think in a structured way
