2. Job Purpose:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Food & Beverage Director to drive growth and operational excellence for our chain of Indian restaurants. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the food and beverage industry, extensive experience managing multi-unit operations, and a passion for Indian cuisine. This role will require strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities for sustainable growth.

4. Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • - Develop and execute strategic plans for expanding and scaling Indian restaurant concepts.
  • - Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

Operational Management:

  • - Ensure the operational excellence of multiple restaurant locations by upholding company standards and practices.
  • - Partner with management teams to enhance guest experiences, streamline operations, and improve service quality.

Menu Development:

  • - Lead the creation and refinement of innovative, market-relevant menus that showcase authentic Indian cuisine.
  • - Ensure that menu offerings are cost-effective, appealing, and consistent with brand positionin g.

Team Leadership:

  • - Oversee the recruitment, training, and mentorship of restaurant managers and staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance to enhance staff engagement and retention.

Financial Oversight:

  • - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across all restaurant locations.
  • - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, implementing strategies to improve profitability and cost-efficiency.

Brand Development:

  • - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and enhance brand visibility.
  • - Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and business partners.

Marketing and Brand Expansion:

  • - Drive marketing initiatives to strengthen brand identity and boost market presence.
  • - Identify new markets and potential locations for expansion, conducting feasibility studies and competitive analysis as needed.

Cost Control and Profit Optimization:

  • - Implement cost control measures to manage labor, food, and operational expenses effectively.
  • - Monitor financial metrics to identify improvement opportunities and ensure profitability.
  • - Design and implement strategies to maximize revenue and reduce waste.

5. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of F&B experience, with 5+ years in senior management across multiple restaurant units.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills for market expansion and operational improvements.
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Expertise in menu development, especially in Indian cuisine, aligned with market trends.
  • Proven leadership in recruiting, training, and developing high-performance teams.
  • Experience in vendor and supplier management for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Skilled in brand management, marketing strategies, and customer service excellence.
  • Adaptable problem-solver with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE F&B market, including trends, consumer preferences, and regulations.

6. Communication & Working Relationships:
