You show discernment, attention to details, and want to evolve quickly. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining test scripts. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to identify test requirements, develop test cases, and implement solutions. Additionally, you will analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
Junior Quality Analyst
Your main responsibilities:
Test Preparation: Prepare and maintain high quality test cases/scripts based on business and technical requirements.
Test Execution: Perform a variety of tests, such as functional, regression, integration, uat testing to confirm the stability of web and mobile applications. Ability to test and investigate back-end APIs and services using tools such as Postman
Defect Reporting: Report defects accurately and assist in managing the defect lifecycle.
Scrum Participation: Engage in the Scrum process by attending daily stand-ups and other relevant meetings to support software development workflow.
Tools: Work with ticketing, documentation, and test management systems such as Jira, Xray, Testmo. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
Collaboration with clients: Work with Customers and cross-functional teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders
Your qualifications:
Bachelor's degree / BE/B-Tech or equivalent in a technical field with 1-2 years of experience in Testing Methodologies and Manual Testing Process.
Strong knowledge on Testing Process and Methodologies.
Knowledge of Automation tool (Selenium) is a plus.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Javascript is a plus
Good understanding of API testing and tools like Postman.
Good working knowledge of agile development processes
Knowledge on Defect management tool like JIRA, test management tools Xray and Test
Team spirit, strong analytical skills, attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with Customers & Clients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with excellent level of proficiency in written English.
NOTE : Please note that this is a Junior role and the pay is aligned to that.
