Position Overview
As the Founding i OS Engineer , you’ll take on the exciting challenge of building our i OS app from scratch. This is more than just a role—it’s a chance to define the future of our mobile experience and set the technical foundation for a product that will shape education for millions. You’ll work closely with the founding team to create a seamless, responsive, and feature-rich i OS app that integrates deeply with our AI platform.
This is a remote opportunity where you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission while enjoying the flexibility to work from anywhere. You’ll have the chance to grow with the company, build and lead your own i OS team, and take ownership of a transformative product.
What You'll Do
Own the i OS app development : Build, release, and maintain our native i OS application in Swift, ensuring it’s intuitive, fast, and scalable.
Innovate on the edge of AI and mobile : Integrate cutting-edge AI-driven features into the i OS app, delivering real-time explanations, study tools, and more to students worldwide.
Solve complex i OS challenges : Develop optimized solutions for real-time API integrations, offline-first experiences, and seamless AI-driven interactions—while ensuring top-tier performance and scalability.
Set technical standards : Establish best practices for i OS development, emphasizing code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Collaborate deeply : Work alongside the design, backend, and AI teams to ensure a cohesive, polished product.
Lead future growth : As the company scales, you’ll have the opportunity to lead the i OS engineering team, setting the technical direction and building a team to support our global mission.

What We're Looking For
Proven experience : 5+ years of experience developing i OS applications using Swift or Flutter, with a deep understanding of i OS frameworks and best practices.
Technical expertise : Strong knowledge of building clean, scalable APIs, optimizing app performance, and designing testable code.
Passion for innovation : A track record of creatively solving problems in mobile development, especially in integrating AI or cutting-edge features.
Ownership mindset : You thrive in startup environments, taking initiative and driving projects from idea to execution.
Collaboration skills : Experience working closely with design and backend teams to create seamless user experiences.
Bachelor’s degree : In Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multithreaded programming, offline-first mobile experiences, and performance optimizations for i OS apps.
Familiarity with AI integrations or building features powered by machine learning.
Previous startup or founding team experience.
