We are hiring software engineers to work on projects for clients outside of India and so excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
Job Title : Swift Engineer
Location : Kochi
Working Hours : 3 PM IST to 12 AM IST
Experience Required : Minimum 3 years
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Who are you?
Android Development Expertise : You have significant experience developing Android applications using Kotlin . You are familiar with Android SDK , Jetpack Components , and Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVP .
Google Ecosystem : You have a solid understanding of Material Design Guidelines and are skilled at building user-friendly, responsive Android applications that offer a smooth experience across different devices.
API Integration : You are experienced in integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit or Ok Http and have a good understanding of background tasks and threading in Android.
UI/UX Sensitivity : You can implement clean, responsive UI layouts using XML and Jetpack Compose . You understand how to optimize applications for various screen sizes and densities.
Testing : You are experienced in writing unit and integration tests using JUnit , Espresso , or similar tools, ensuring the robustness of your applications.
Version Control & Collaboration : You are proficient in Git and familiar with code reviews and collaborative workflows. You are comfortable working in a Scrum or Agile environment.
Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) : You have experience with tools like Jenkins , Git Lab CI , or Bitrise , and understand the process of automating builds and deployments to Google Play Store .
Problem Solver : You are proficient at troubleshooting and resolving performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues that arise in Android development.
Communication Skills : You are an effective communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
Experience : You have 3+ years of experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin in a professional setting.
What you will be doing?
Android App Development : You will develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin , adhering to Google’s best practices and Material Design standards.
Feature Implementation : You will work with product managers and designers to implement new features and ensure the best possible user experience.
Maintain Code Quality : You will write clean, maintainable code and ensure that proper testing is conducted to maintain application stability.
Optimization : You will ensure that the Android applications perform optimally on a wide range of devices and screen sizes, and that any performance issues are addressed promptly.
Google Play Store Deployment : You will assist in deploying applications to the Google Play Store , managing app versions, and handling any issues that arise during deployment.
Collaboration and Mentoring : You will work collaboratively with other teams and have opportunities to mentor junior developers.
